One debugging strategy my partner and I used was trying out what we thought we be right and if it was not we would experiment around with other scripts. I would help someone else with debugging by telling them to first view the code that is already presented to see if there are any errors. If there are no errors I would tell them to try code they are familiar with first and if that does not work I would tell them to try other script and experiment.
