Final Project Reflection

Final Project Link: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/23602921/

I really enjoyed this project and our time to learn Scratch. At first I was going to remix the fish game, but I wanted to challenge myself and test my Scratch ability so I started from scratch. For me the project was quite easy except for changing to the third level and incorporating broadcasting. With the levels my level change indicator was the color green so in order to change to each level I changed the shade of green each time. Also, broadcast was challenging as well. For the broadcast I tried different things until it worked which it did.To see if my game work I would play it each time I made a change.Overall,I enjoyed Scratch.

Final Scratch Project Prewrite

I am very excited to write the Scratch game. The purpose of my game is for the dog to reach the green door. As you pass, the levels become harder and more complex. While playing the game you have to avoid the red parts of the level. I believe this my be challenging, but I think I will be able to create a great game.

Debug it week 2 Reflection

One debugging strategy my partner and I used was trying out what we thought we be right and if it was not we would experiment around with other scripts. I would help someone else with debugging by telling them to first view the code that is already presented to see if there are any errors. If there are no errors I would tell them to try code they are familiar with first and if that does not work I would tell them to try other script and experiment.

Try it Reflection

I enjoyed the try its as a was able to explore more about Scratch. I did try its 1, 5, and 6. For solving each puzzle I tried the blocks I was familiar with, but if they did not work I experimented with blocks I was unfamiliar with. Puzzle 6 helped me think about my game project because the dog and cat chased each other and I could possible build a game off of it.

Try it 6.
