Scratch 2 Reflection

The 10 block activity was very fun, yet a little bit challenging. The point was to make your sprite move with only 10 blocks. From this activity I learned how the different blocks worked. For example, I learned how the hide block gets rid of the sprite after the motions are completed. Also, I learned that you can make your sprites do many things with a limited number of blocks. The 10 block restraint impacted my ideas because I was not able to explore and use the different blocks that I wanted to. Also, the blocks gave very simple commands rather than more challenging ones.

SCRATCH 1 REFLECTION

I found nothing surprising with the activity. The step-by-step through the activity was very help because it taught me the basics to approach scratch and gave me a general idea how to use it. As a learner (with Scratch and beyond), I like having more structure at the beginning so I will understand how to use the program. I like having more freedom when I understand what to do. I feel most creative when I am designing my own scratch.

HTML Code Review

While doing Html I had a lot of problems. One problem was trying to move an image. Moving an image is very different than aligning text. Another problem I had was centering a list. Unfortunately, I was never able to figure out how to align the list. The third problem I had was changing link colors. At first I had no idea how to do this, but I was able to find a site that helped me.

When I was doing my Html I had many successes. One success was I was able to add special effects without any problem. The other success I had was installing links.

My favorite part of the project was being able to be creative and create our site how ever we wanted.
